Michael heard that we went to Lenny’s for their Thanksgiving sandwich and so he mentioned that New York Burger Co. is now offering a Thanksgiving Burger (turkey burger,  maple sweet potato mash & cranberry orange chutney) $6.75. It’s a sweet, tangy, tarty turkey burger. It tastes good, but not very Thanksgiving-y. I like the idea of the sweet potato mash on a burger, but what about the stuffing and the gravy? I want everything from Thanksgiving on my Thanksgiving sandwich, including the pumpkin pie and green bean casserole.

That said, if you’re already ordering a turkey burger, the Thanksgiving Burger is a good one to try. It’s good quality for semi-fastfood.

I love the self-serve sauces they have. I added a little of the Curry Mango sauce to the burger (which made it taste like Indian food), when it got a little too dry in the middle. Maybe it needs Monica’s Moist Maker.
