Got an invite to a party at Oxygen to promote their new food reality show, The Naughty Kitchen. I wish it was more of a party than a “blogger’s event.” I felt like we were tricked into watching a timeshare video by bribing us with food and drinks. It would have been cool if it was a rad party with all the people who are on the show and worked on it, standing and crowded around a television being rowdy. The show was pretty good though. It reminds me of Ace of Cakes which makes sense because it’s from the same producers.
Had plenty of mojitos and met some nice people. They gave me a nice gift bag with a blinged out memory stick necklace and earbuds. Ashley and I were the last stragglers hanging around the bar. Then we went and stared at the guys making bread for ten minutes in the Chelsea Market. I wonder what they were saying to each other about us on the other side of the window. Turned out to be a fun evening.
