Started off Saturday at Matt’s birthday. It was a Karate Kid/Cobra Kai themed backyard party. I smashed my hand on a rock during beer pong. I thought I was going to make a comeback with a crane kick, but didn’t get a chance as Dave sunk his last two balls in my cup. Who am I supposed to be? Mr. Miyagi?
Then off to Mulholland’s in Williamsburg to watch the Gators take on Kentucky with some friends. I ordered the chili and waffle fries ($9). Pretty good bar food. It was sweet and I think I could taste cinnamon. Left after the Gators were on route to a 126-0 game after the 1st quarter. I hope I didn’t jink Tebow.
Headed off to Bushwick to play on top of Funkcamp. Pretty impressive setup for a rooftop. Tigers and Monkeys rocked Buick McKane. Brendan played with us and he shred. There was this band Wild Street. I first thought they were wearing wigs and dressing like this for the Glam Party, but I guess not. They had some catchy 80’s hair metal songs.
