Out at the 1834 Bar & Burger Grand Opening Party last night. A line down the street to get in. Crazy watching people attack a plate of hors d’oeuvres. The sliders were good, cooked medium rare. Matt liked the bun. My new friends raved about the bacon wrapped tator tots they ordered there before. We found some left on a tray at the end of the night. Still a line outside when we left.

Unfortunately the kitchen wasn’t open, so I’ll have to come back and report on the burgers properly …and hopefully catch someone daring enough to attempt the 10 pound burger challenge. Wouldn’t that person die if they ate it all?

its a pretty nice place(at least the bar part was). i didn’t spend any time upstairs. one of the bartenders was a dick, but i got free bacon tots from him. the tots were great! perfectly crispy. the place was pretty busy so there was more drinking than eating, so i didn’t try any of the burgers. we went to bon chon afterwards. that was great too!
