Today, I went out to lunch with our house guest, vegetarian and Australian folk singer song-writer, Darren Hanlon. I wanted to take him to the Dosa Guy in Washington Square Park, but we couldn’t find him. Instead I remembered one of the best vegetarian and best overall meals I’ve had was right around the corner at Meskerem’s Ethiopian Restaurant. The Vegetarian Combo at only $8.50. We got an order for two and got stuffed. This meal makes me remember that I don’t always need to order meat to enjoy myself. My favs were the brown ones. Darren’s fav was green string bean one …but all so good.
