I was hankering for a Thanksgiving sandwich after watching Guy Fieri eat one last night on TV. Looked so good. I think it fogged up the glasses on the back his head. So I ran across the street to Lenny’s with Sam and Chris to grab one. It’s the H1 on the menu. (Fresh oven roasted turkey with stuffing, cranberry sauce and turkey gravy – Sliced bread or Roll 7.50 | Hero 8.50 | Wrap 7.99).

The roll was a good size meal for me, since they do a good job stacking on the turkey. The gravy made the bottom bread a little wet and soft, but that’s okay. I would have loved mashed potatoes on it. Solid sandwich served year-round. Better than Cosi’s Thanksgiving sandwich from what I remembered.

[update: Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that the sandwich smelled like my elementary school cafeteria. It brought back memories of the slice of turkey with gravy in the main compartment of the plastic tray dish. I think there would have been mashed potatoes and some kind of apple or peach cobbler on the side. Wednesday’s are chocolate milk days.]
