Met up with the bros at the Long Island City piers for some fishing. It was cold and windy, so I took cover at the nearby Waterfront Crabhouse (right across the street from Water Taxi Beach). Had a Blue Moon and walked around the restaurant while I waited for my Crabcake burger to go. The place has a lot of random crap on the wall, like tricycles and traffic signs. I remember eating here with some friends a few years back and came away with the impression that this was a TGI Fridays. They do have an impressive collection of boxing memorabilia around the bar.

I wasn’t expecting much with the Crabcake burger, but it was surprisingly good. Very plump on that English muffin.

It’s Lobster Fest right now at the Crabhouse. They have daily specials. And they offer a shuttle bus to and from your office in the Long Island City area for free.
