There’s all these El Matador menus littering my front door. Somehow I ended up there five minutes later. Nice trick, jerk. Got the 1/4 chicken with green rice and black beans for $6. The green rice is apparently cooked in pesto and cilantro. Very refreshing. That and the rotisserie chicken made me feel like I was eating healthy (maybe because all the green?) …and you know how I like my fat and grease. The black beans need hot sauce to make it tasty. I think they make the green rice to order because I had to sit and talk to the cute waitress for a while. Then Rusty came over and tried to give her a fried shrimp.
Then went to the Garden Party to hear the Parkinson Sisters, TK Webb and This Frontier Needs Heroes. DJ Sam Brown (Whitest Kids U’Know) brought the house down. The party continues the next three Fridays this month.
